First vitamin A formulations for wound healing

Sainte Beauté combines Scandinavian clarity with scientific expertise and a deep conviction: true beauty emerges when we respect the skin and support its natural functions with precision.

Sainte Beauté grew from the shared scientific work of Jens R. Pedersen and his son Torben R. Pedersen – two generations of a Danish family united by a passion for skincare, research and product development.
Jens R. Pedersen, a microbiologist, founded the family company in 1979. Together, they developed vitamin A formulations for wound healing and scar care in the 1990s. Their work revealed something remarkable: the skin appeared not only regenerated, but also smoother, firmer and younger.
This discovery became the starting point for decades of scientific work and the development of Sainte Beauté. Today, the brand unites documented research with sophisticated textures and a luxurious skincare experience.
